Dark reaper has gone on VAC for open heart operation. He will be gone for a few weeks. I will be with him.... and just so you know, as I am not sure if he told you, but he only has a 40% survival chance

wow, he hadn't gone into any details when we talked only said he was having surgery. My prayers are with him.

i hope maths is wrong and the surgeons are good

Hope he's alright. Make sure he doesnt get back biking too soon though.

i do know how delicate the procedure is....
i also know how scared i am for him.
but he is a fighter. his past has shown us that

operation did noe go as planned. He is still alive but is currently on life support untill the doctors operate again. Can someone please transfer this onto Pure Poision.

God I hope he makes it through this.

ok. He has had this operation since birth. He is having 90% of the arteries around his heart replaced and stents put in his new veins. And also some other thing which i can't quite remember. Several of the arteries did not join so they have him on life support. His parents are to make the decision to either keep him how he is or try to operate. there is only a 13.1% chance of coming out of this. Part of the reason it's this bad is because they had to wait for most of his motorbike accident injuries to heal which left the operation success rate lower considerably. Please bear in mind that only 1 and a half years ago his twin brothers died and this is a big decision for his parents. I myself do not know what to do. I am only 16 and I don;t know what to expect. He is 17 and I hope he comes out of this alive. I'm not in a right state atm so I don't know whether I will be around much.

i am definately praying for all Alex, his family and especally you.
this can't be an easy time for any of you in the least. and i am very sorry that you have to go through something of this magnitude at such a young age. the fact that you are still by his side tells alot of the person you are and of the person who you will become. both Alex and his family are lucky to have such a wonderful young lady in their lives.

i know you mean the world to Alex. many nights i would hear about you, what some of your guys plans were and i could tell how much you both cared for each other.

you have been through alot together. more then alot of couples much older and together much longer. and i have seen those relationships stressed and broken. i commend the both of you on your strength for and towards each other. you are a shining example to us all.

if i didn't have my own medical issues to deal with and had the money to... you can bet that i would be on the next plane on my way to give what ever support i could for Alex is like a brother to me.

we all know he is a fighter. and that he is not rolling over to let this get the best of him. i will not give up believing that we will see him on these and other forums in the near future.

i know that all of the people in SGW who know him and see your posts will be thinking of him, you, and his family.

if you need anything, you get a hold of me. even if its just someone to yell at cause none of this is fair. i'm there for you as much as i would be there for Alex.
